Proper diagnosis is key, and treatment plans can be as simple as routine maintenance with our awesome hygienists, or as complex as you can imagine.
We now know that properly aligned teeth not only look better but also stay healthier requiring less treatments over time. Misaligned teeth can wear excessively, cause gum recession, or be difficult to maintain/keep clean, affecting your periodontal health. Our practice has been providing clear aligner therapy using the Invisalign appliance since 2011.
We offer replacement of missing teeth with implants - from single tooth replacement to full mouth replacement. After diagnosis, the process typically is broken into stages involving the placement of the implant, a healing phase and the delivery of the replacement tooth/teeth. Dr. Larhs has extensive training, experience, and a very high success rate with dental implants.
Dr. Larhs will routinely examine you twice a year. She will assess the many aspects of your oral health, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Dental Checkup/Examinations, Oral Cancer Screening, Preventive Routine Dental Cleanings, Digital Radiography, and Fluoride and Sealants.

A healthy periodontium (gums and bone around teeth) is the very foundation of good dental health. Moreover, periodontitis ("gum disease") directly impacts overall health. Ample scientific evidence links periodontal disease to diabetes, inflammatory disease, cardiac disease, low-birth-weight/premature babies, respiratory diseases, oral and gastrointestinal cancers and diseases, and even Alzheimer disease. Periodontitis causes more adults to lose their teeth than any other dental- related condition.
Endodontic therapy ("root canal") is recommended when the nerve inside a tooth is irreversibly unhealthy. Contrary to popular belief, this treatment is not painful - but rather boring from the patient's perspective - as profound anesthesia is accomplished in the vast majority of cases, very much the same as for any other dental procedure.
Dentures are generally removable appliances that replace multiple or all teeth. Dentures can also provide support for the facial muscles which can often begin to sag when teeth are missing. There are many design choices available. Dr. Larhs will select a design that is most appropriate based on each patient's unique needs.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a highly prevalent medical condition that is very detrimental to overall health. One of the treatment modalities is a custom-fabricated oral appliance.
Treatment options offered in our practice include properly designed and fitted custom night guards, as well as targeted therapeutic botulinum A toxin (BTX, e.g. Botox®) injections in the muscles involved. These treatments protect teeth and jaw joints, and relieve jaw pain and headaches related to bruxism. Botox® helps reduce muscle mass in the overworked muscle groups.
One of the core values of our practice is facial esthetics. When working to improve the smile, what else can we do for a patient aside from maintaining or creating an impeccable dentition?
